Centre of Excellence Launches App Placing Affordable Learning in The Palm of The Hand

Leading online learning company Centre of Excellence has launched a new app placing affordable and transformative learning in the palm of the hand.

The new platform is the latest in a series of developments from the Cheshire-headquartered business who last year released a range of new courses for children, expanded its portfolio of language courses and unveiled a new and bespoke website, attracting over two million visits per month.  The business has over one million customers across 150 countries.

The app, designed and built by award-winning digital marketing agency Soap Media, aims to make eLearning more accessible than ever before, providing access to the Centre of Excellence’s portfolio of over 1,000 courses at home, in the workplace or on the move.  It’s available to download on the App Store and Google Play now.

Amongst the extensive suite of courses and audio courses to be enjoyed are programmes on life coaching, animal care, languages, and child education.  For businesses looking to further support their colleagues in the workplace a number of corporate wellbeing courses are also available.

All are segmented under easy-to-navigate categories providing effortless ease of browsing.  Additional functions include the option to create a course wish-list, view registered programmes and purchase a course as a gift.  An interest free payment plan provides the opportunity to stagger the cost of a course over six months with a friend referral scheme presenting additional user rewards.  All users downloading the app will receive one of twelve complimentary Jungian Archetypes audio courses.

Speaking on the launch of the app, Founder and CEO of Centre of Excellence, Sara Jones, said: “As a business we are consistently looking to innovate, whether that be in the breadth of the courses we offer, the way in which our courses are delivered, or the way in which we engage with our audience worldwide.

“Over the last two years we’ve invested over £1 million in developing our user offer and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.  We hope that with the launch of the Centre of Excellence app visitors and registered users will enjoy an even more meaningful experience as we continue to realise our ambitious growth plan.”

Operations Director at Soap Media, Ben Bedford, added: “It’s an incredible journey we’ve been on with Centre of Excellence, and we are delighted to have helped deliver their fantastic new app.  Seeing how their existing community of users will harness the power of learning on the go is going to be exciting!  We look forward to our continued partnership with the business to help provide transformative education to a whole new group of learners.”

Further to the business’s conception in 2012, Centre of Excellence has delivered over one million courses to learners worldwide who benefit from lifetime access to programmes that they can complete in their own time, at their own pace.

The business prides itself on its human-first approach, listening to the needs of its learners and employees to continuously enhance its offer.

Over the last 12-months, as individuals have had the opportunity to invest more time in their passions and explore new careers, the business has enjoyed significant growth, including the introduction of three hundred new courses.  Its social media community stands at over 2.4 million Facebook users and over 270,000 Instagram users.

Setting Centre of Excellence apart from other eLearning providers is its supportive online community of over 70,000 learners that love helping and encouraging each other in celebrating their achievements and new skills.
