SpaFlo, based in Widnes, scoops National Industry Awards

Never before has the desire for pool and hot tub ownership been in such huge demand worldwide as it has been in the last two years. No longer possessions of the rich and famous, water leisure products have become, for many homeowners, a serious consideration to enhance their home, lifestyle, health and wellbeing as well as helping to bring family and friends together in homes and gardens across the country; with an aspiration to enjoy every day as a holiday – an #everydaycation!

Leading the way for the water leisure industry, the UK trade associations, SPATA (Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association) and BISHTA (British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association) annually invite their members to enter the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards. The combined swimming pool, spa, hot tub and wellness industry awards attract entries from companies across Britain (and some from overseas), celebrating the best of construction, design, installation, retail, hire, service and innovation. The awards ceremony is held annually at the Coventry Building Society Arena in Coventry during SPATEX, the UK’s only dedicated international pool, spa and wellness show.

SpaFlo, based in Widnes, won a Gold BISHTA Award in the Residential Hot Tubs £14,000 and over category at the 2022 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards ceremony.

Richard Gowland of SpaFlo Commented: “It’s been another successful year for SpaFlo, and this is down to our fantastic team. Quality and Service are the fundamentals of our business, and we strive to ensure that each of our customer’s experience the best possible service we can offer. I am incredibly proud that we have scooped this national Gold BISHTA award, which is testament to our quality, service and dedication to providing our customers superior products and installations”.

With 32 categories to be contested (see a complete list of winners), this year’s winning and highly commended entries demonstrate the breadth of talent and commitment to quality and service in the industry, even when in the constraints of a pandemic.

Both SPATA and BISHTA work on behalf of the industry, with the consumer at the forefront of their work. Setting Standards and providing a Code of Ethics that their members are expected to abide by. Providing a route for consumers to purchase water leisure products and services, with the peace of mind that companies displaying the trade association logos that are listed on the association’s respective websites are reputable and trusted businesses, working to appropriate standards.

Partners and Sponsors of the 2022 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards are; AstralPool UK, Calorex, Certikin, Complete Pool Controls, Fairlocks Pool Products, Complete Spas, Golden Coast, Heatstar, HTH Innovative Water Care, SPN, Jacuzzi, Nsure, OASE, Pollet Pool Group, Rotospa, Spa Time by Bayrol, Plastica,  Sprayed Concrete Solutions and What Pool & Hot Tub Magazine.
