Eventus Recruitment Cheshire is expanding, six months after opening an office in Wilmslow

Following a successful first six months in Wilmslow, Eventus Recruitment Cheshire is expanding, with the aim of developing their finance and legal arms into the wider geographic and multi-disciplinary services.

Eventus Recruitment Cheshire, part of The Eventus Recruitment Group, is owned by award-winning recruiter and former Alderley Edge resident Siobhan Courtney. They specialise in Finance, Accountancy, Legal and HR Recruitment, with a portfolio of clients across England and Wales.

Since the Cheshire branch opened in September 2021, the Wilmslow office have provided career advice and assisted the job search of over 200 finance and legal professionals, across Cheshire and the surrounding areas. As a result of this success and a rising demand for recruiting services, Eventus Recruitment Cheshire is expanding their team. They are looking for a Recruitment Consultant and a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant to work in their Cheshire office.

Eventus Recruitment Cheshire is headed up by Jo Hood, a finance recruitment specialist with over 30 years’ experience of working in recruitment in Cheshire. Before the Eventus Recruitment Group was founded, Siobhan and Jo met when they worked together in legal and finance recruitment in Cheshire 16 years’ ago.

Jo commented: “It’s wonderful to see that businesses are booming in Cheshire and the recruitment market is very buoyant at the moment. It’s so satisfying to be able to look back six months down the line and know that we’ve made the right decision in bringing The Eventus Recruitment Group permanently to Cheshire.”

The Eventus Recruitment Group was founded in 2008 in Lancaster, Lancashire. 2021 was a successful year for the group. They welcomed 5 new team members, introduced an in-house marketing function and opened up Eventus Recruitment Cheshire.
