Manor House Hotel in Alsager announces luxury ‘English Country Garden’ spa plans with first phase open this Easter

Independent family owned Manor House Hotel in Alsager, Cheshire, which started life as a 17th century farmhouse, announces plans for a new luxury destination spa with the first phase opening on 14th April 2022.

The Hotel nestled in the East Cheshire countryside currently boasts 52 stylish bedrooms, modern conference and banqueting facilities, and the locally renowned AA Rosette restaurant; The Stables Bar & Grill, serving delicious locally sourced food and fine wine. The addition of the brand new Spa due for completion in Autumn will position The Manor House Hotel as one of the UK’s leading Spa destinations.

This exciting new development is inspired by the hotel’s picturesque rural location and will offer both indoor and outdoor wellness experiences, making the most of natural light and fresh air. It will be a place to relax, recharge and spend time with friends and loved ones, open to both hotel residents and day visitors looking for a relaxing luxury escape.

The first phase developments opening this Easter include a stylish new 15 metre serenity swimming pool with surrounding boardwalk, glass ceiling and luxurious sofas including an Instagram worthy hanging day bed.  Poolside, guests can also enjoy relaxing in the new Finnish sauna and steam room.

Three new treatment rooms have been built within the original farmhouse and include two for double treatments and one single.  There is also a quiet relaxation lounge for post treatments.  British spa brand Tribe517 has been selected by the hotel to provide a range of face and body treatments including indulgent and therapeutic massages and refining facials using hand blended natural ingredients.  The stunning new changing rooms provide guests with lockers, showers and all modern facilities for a comfortable visit.

Outdoors in the new courtyard, a Salt Shed experience offers a Himalayan Salt wall, lavender cauldron and ergonomic seating where guests can relax in 40 degree heat with a guided meditation session whilst experiencing the respiratory and deep relaxation benefits.

Announcing the first phase opening of the spa, Jessica Mellors, General Manager at Manor House Alsager says “The development of our beautiful new spa is part of our mission to become a leading leisure destination and bring an exciting new spa experience to the area.  The new spa complements our successful Hotel & AA Rosette restaurant offering and will enable us to offer guests a wider wellbeing experience.

Currently under construction and due to be completed by autumn 2022, is the spa’s signature spa experience – the English Spa Garden which looks out onto the fields beyond.  Embracing the English countryside, the spa will combine quintessential landscaping and country garden planting with modern wellness experiences. This includes a panoramic sauna, steam room, spa pool and open air vitality pool plus outdoor heated cosy sensory seating areas.   An indoor spa dining area and relaxation spaces enable guests to enjoy a full or half day away with the option to extend their experience with an overnight Spa break.

The Manor House Hotel is nestled in the quiet village of Alsager in the East Cheshire countryside, within easy driving distance of Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe and close to the M6.

A range of spa days and spa stays are available with prices starting from £95 per person.  www.manorhousealsager.com
