Cheshire functional drinks business launches crowdfunding campaign to expand Apple Cider Vinegar Soda production

Fast growing Cheshire functional drinks brand, Hip Pop, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help expand the production of its new Apple Cider Vinegar Soda range.

Hosted on Kickstarter, the ‘Gut Lovin’ Drinks’ campaign aims to raise £15,000 for the fast-growing drinks business, which will be used to purchase dedicated tanks for the fast and efficient brewing of its new Apple Cider Vinegar Sodas.

Now available in Ginger, Turmeric and Black Pepper flavour, with an additional Peach and Mango flavour to be launched in May 2022, the new Hip Pop Apple Cider Vinegar Soda offers consumers a low-sugar gut health drink, rich in prebiotics and probiotics.

With each 330ml can containing less than 30 calories and a full tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, proven to help improve digestion and boost immunity, Hip Pop’s new Apple Cider Vinegar Soda range is set to be listed by several retailers within the coming months.

Originally launched in 2019 as ‘Booch & Brew’ by friends Emma Thackray and Kenny Goodman, Hip Pop has gone from strength to strength over the last 12 months, having secured retail listings with Health Store, Booths and prestigious retailer, Harrods.

In achieving its £15,000 target, Hip Pop will be able to accelerate the production of the new Apple Cider Vinegar Soda, enabling it to quickly dominate the gut health drinks market.

Emma Thackray, co-founder of Hip Pop, confirmed: “We have focused on launching our own Apple Cider Vinegar based drink for a while now, and in being the only brand to utilise a full tablespoon of AVC within each can, we are confident consumers will be attracted by both the associated health benefits and incredible taste of our unique flavours.

“In meeting our Kickstarter target, we will be able to expand production of our Apple Cider Vinegar Soda by 300%, enabling us to reach more consumers and retailers, whilst expanding market share. We are, therefore, incredibly grateful to anyone able to support the campaign and hope they enjoy this latest Hip Pop range as much as we do!”

Individuals can pledge as little as £10 in support of the ‘Gut Lovin’ Drinks’ Kickstarter campaign, with investor rewards including super discounted cases, discounted subscriptions, ‘make your own kombucha’ kits and apple cider vinegar soda workshops.

Having doubled its headcount over the last 12 months, Hip Pop has been recognised for its superior brewing quality by multiple industry awards, including two stars at the Great Taste Awards.
