Trafford Palazzo to launch an exciting summer festival

Trafford Palazzo has announced a busy schedule of activities as part of their ‘Summer Fest’.

Launching on Monday 1st August, visitors at Trafford Palazzo should expect four weeks of family-orientated fun that incorporates dance, crafts, music, bootcamps, a variety of entertainment and local food vendors.

Mark Whittaker, Executive Director ‑ Property Investment & Management, said: “August is a month where families can spend a lot more time with each other, and we wanted to offer something exciting and engaging that they can be a part of and enjoy together. Throughout the month, we’ve arranged plenty of fun-filled activities so we can make this a summer to remember for the local community, and those from further afield.”

To kick it off – taking place every Monday from 12pm to 4pm – will be the TP Dance School. This is an opportunity for kids to be taught basic dance moves, including the latest TikTok dance trends and more. All participants will be encouraged to learn their moves and perform them on stage at the TP Summer Fest closing party.

On Wednesdays, Kate’s Crafts returns with 3 hours’ worth of festival-themed crafts. Providing a mid-week alternative to sport for those who would prefer something more creative, this will be an opportunity to make paper plate tambourines, colourful festival skirts, headdresses, and bracelets.

Every Friday throughout August, there will be a series of ‘Bitesize Bootcamp’ sessions that include different kinds of physical activities. From circuits to tug of war and obstacle courses, the Bootcamp can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Various entertainment will be performed live on-site every Friday and Saturday. Expect live music, DJs, and local talent on stage to bring the festival and party atmosphere to Trafford Palazzo. ‘TP Homegrown’ will also launch this summer, designed to celebrate young talents rocking it out on stage presenting an opportunity for any upcoming artists, singers, dancers, performers, to be a part of this extravaganza and perform live at Trafford Palazzo. A big closing party, on Saturday 27th August, will welcome everyone back to Trafford Palazzo for a final celebration of summer with live DJs and singers on stage all day, as well as local food vendors such as Little B’s Cakery, Beigel Cheshire and the recently opened Italian restaurant, Matterello.
