Cheshire Based, Manor House Hotel in Alsager, Opens Its Brand New ‘English Country Spa Garden’

Independent family owned Manor House Hotel in Alsager, Cheshire, which started life as a 17th century farmhouse, has finished its second phase of spa developments and has opened its brand new ‘English Country Spa Garden’.

Making the most of natural light and fresh air, the exciting new development is inspired by the hotel’s picturesque rural location which looks out onto the fields beyond.  Embracing the English countryside, the spa garden combines quintessential landscaping and country garden planting with modern wellness facilities. Guests can relax in the stunning outdoor seating areas some rain or shine, or wander around the spa garden visiting the large Vitality Pool, Sunken Table Top Hydrotherapy Tub, The Pavilion containing a Panoramic Laconium, and the Summer House where guests can find the Light Relaxation Lounge and Patio. Guests can make their way through a thermal journey and visit the Salt Steam Inhalation Chamber, the Potting Shed Herbal Sauna, and finish by braving the icy cool Plunge Bath.

Guests can also opt for a Salt Shed experience, where guests can relax in 40-degree heat surrounded by a Himalayan Salt wall, lavender cauldron and ergonomic seating and enjoy a guided meditation session whilst experiencing the respiratory and deep relaxation benefits.

The first phase of the spas new the indoor developments opened in April and include a stylish new 15 metre serenity swimming pool with surrounding boardwalk and glass ceiling. Around the pool, guests can lounge on luxurious sofas or take a rest on the Instagram worthy hanging day bed, a feature which continues out into the new spa garden.

Three new treatment rooms have been built within the original farmhouse and include two double rooms and one single.  There is also a quiet relaxation lounge for post treatment tranquillity.  British spa brand Tribe517 as well as luxury spa brand Temple Spa have been selected by the hotel to provide a range of face and body treatments which include indulgent and therapeutic massages and refining facials using hand blended natural ingredients.  The stunning new changing rooms provide guests with lockers, showers and all modern facilities required for a comfortable visit.

The addition of the brand-new Spa will position The Manor House Hotel as one of the UK’s leading Spa destinations, already attracting celebrity guests and visitors from afar. An indoor spa dining area and relaxation spaces enable guests to enjoy a full or half day away with the option to extend their experience with an overnight Spa break. It is a place to relax, recharge and spend time with friends and loved ones, open to both hotel residents and day visitors looking for a relaxing luxury escape.

Announcing the opening of the spa garden, Jessica Mellors, General Manager at Manor House Alsager says “We are delighted to have opened the second phase of the spa and welcome guests to the new spa garden. We’ve had nothing but excellent feedback and can’t wait to see the garden change and adapt over the cooler months. We’re especially looking forward to seeing all the planting grow in ready for the spring. It’s an exciting time for the spa.”

The final addition yet to open is the Pool House due in November 2022. This will be an inviting space for solo spa goers, couples, friends and groups to gather in a house of relaxed elegance and pure laidback luxe. It is the perfect hideout to enjoy a selection of delectable beverages & sweet treats.

The Hotel nestled in the East Cheshire countryside currently boasts 52 stylish bedrooms, modern conference and banqueting facilities, and the locally renowned AA Rosette restaurant; The Stables Bar & Grill, serving delicious locally sourced food and fine wine.

The Manor House Hotel is nestled in the quiet village of Alsager in the East Cheshire countryside, within easy driving distance of Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe and close to the M6.
