Digital marketing has become a vital tool for businesses in today’s world.
To boost sales, generate leads, and reach new customers, businesses need as much knowledge and experience as possible in this field.
To stay ahead of the curve, the Cheshire council launches ‘The Digital Support Program,’ an initiative to provide local businesses and entrepreneurs with invaluable advice and support from business and marketing experts.
Cheshire’s ‘Digital Support Program’ is the result of collaboration with LARA Media Group, a London-based award-winning media company, the UK government’s ‘Help To Grow’ campaign, and Digital Cheshire.
The program allows local businesses and entrepreneurs to apply for free 1:1 mentoring sessions with digital marketing and SEO experts.
The aim is to develop knowledge in new and existing platforms, including; social media management and advertising, SEO, PPC, and website optimisation, and prepare for the digital era.
Estimated at around 2.2 million pounds, Cheshire’s Digital Support Program will be covered by LARA Media Group (50% of the funding), Gov.UK and Cheshire council with 25% each.
According to the estimates, over 350 local entrepreneurs will benefit from the mentoring program and develop bespoke knowledge in digital marketing to enhance business performance.
The flexible 1:1 mentoring program will allow both traditional and digital businesses to discuss and seek advice on many aspects of digital marketing, including:
- Website Planning & Content Development
- Social Media and Business Blogging
- Video Marketing, Vlogging & Podcasting
- E-Commerce & Mobile Marketing
- Paid Digital Advertising, Email marketing, CRM
- Cloud Computing and Cyber Protection
- Big Data & Advanced SEO Techniques
In addition, workshops will be organised to develop digital knowledge on platforms already used by global businesses while giving scope for emerging platforms to progress awareness in all aspects of digital marketing.
