GEAR UP FOR WINTER WITH A BIKE HEALTH CHECK IN HARTFORD THIS WEEKEND

CYCLIST’S keen to stay safe in their saddles this winter are being invited by Redrow and Halfords to get their bikes checked this weekend in Hartford.

The ‘Gear up with Redrow’ event is taking place at Weaver Park, on Woods Road, from 10am to 3pm this Saturday (October 1).

All adults and children living in Hartford and the surrounding areas can bring their bike along to receive a bike health check from the experts at Halfords to ensure they are in tip top condition. A bike mechanic will be on hand to offer guidance on anything that required further attention.

If you would like to attend, please email your name to [email protected].

Caroline Thomson-Jones, area sales manager at Redrow NW,  said: “Weaver Park, and our neighbouring Water’s Reach development, both in Hartford are cycling-friendly developments with access to lots of places great places for a bike ride in the local area.

“In fact, all Redrow homeowners receive Halford’s voucher to put towards a new bike when they move in, as part of a local sustainable travel scheme. We’re delighted to link up with the experts at Halfords for our ‘Gear up with Redrow’ event to ensure the local community can enjoy safe cycling this autumn and winter.”

The three and four-bedroom homes at Weaver Park are ideal for first time buyers and second steppers, while Water’s Reach offers larger homes that are more suited to established homeowners with bigger budgets.

Both developments feature properties from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection. This means that traditional exteriors are combined with bright, modern, largely open plan interiors designed for today’s lifestyles.
