Two months, three award listings for Ascendis

Cheshire accountancy firm Ascendis has achieved a hat-trick – securing three award accolades in just two months.

Its latest honour is as a finalist in the Business of the Year £1.5m + category at the North East Cheshire Business Awards.

Judges at these awards were impressed with the high-quality service that Ascendis provides to its clients, its focus on growth and investment and its support of its team through training and development.

The award entry also highlighted some of the significant deals that the firm has helped local businesses to achieve in the last year, including its role in the sale of NFT platform Known Origin to international marketplace eBay.

Before this latest shortlisting the firm was also named as a finalist of the Transaction Services Team of the Year category at the Insider North West Dealmakers Awards 2022 in September.

During the same month one of its up-and-coming Associate Directors, Lorenzo Coletta was named as one of the UK’s top 35 accountants under the age of 35 by national publication, Accountancy Age.

Speaking about the firm’s recent recognition and success, Ascendis’ Managing Director Richard Fleming, said: “We are proud of all of our latest achievements, particularly the work we have done for our clients that has helped them secure investment and an exciting future.

“It is these actions that have led to us being recognised as a leader within our profession and the regions in which we work.

“However, none of this would ultimately be possible without the considerable effort and dedication put in by our entire team, who support our ambitious growth plans.”
