It’s Christmas time at Beetham Nurseries!

The popular destination garden centre, Beetham Nurseries, is hosting their very first Christmas Market Weekend from the 1st – 4th of December 2022 and you won’t want to miss it!

The family-owned garden centre near Milnthorpe in Cumbria, has been getting into the holiday spirit. In preparation for the Christmas season, the garden centre has been transformed both inside and out over the last few weeks.

Beetham Nurseries has invited ten local businesses to exhibit their products on their
opening weekend this year. In addition, customers will be able to shop for new Christmas
decorations and choose the perfect tree for their home. Items for sale will range from
homemade arts and crafts to locally produced food and drink.

The free-to-attend, four-day weekend will be packed with sights, sounds and smells of the festive season, with plenty of family fun to get involved in, delicious food and drink to try and live music to enjoy.

Our ten local businesses occupying our festive chalets will be there for all four days of the Christmas Market Weekend, all with something unique to offer and for all the family to enjoy.

Marketing manager, Jess Firth said, “It is a privilege to be welcoming such fantastic local businesses, selling their premium products for all for days of the Christmas Market Weekend.”

She continued, “We wanted to invite businesses who are based on our doorstep and have something unique to offer to our customers, friends and visitors.”

Throughout the weekend, there will be live music performances, the first of which by special guests, Beetham Primary School on December 1st. They will be singing their favourite holiday songs to get everyone in the festive spirit, whilst browsing the gift shop for unique gifts and decorations.

Late night shopping is available on December 1st and December 8th, with The Garden Cafe remaining open until 7pm for customers to enjoy some delicious food during their visit. The Garden Cafe is one of TripAdvisor’s “Best of the Best Travellers’ Choice Award winners, which has been awarded to them again this year.

Jess went on to say, “We have tried to pack as much into the weekend as possible and feel we have something for everyone. Our gift shop is packed with festive decorations and great gift ideas, and we have free festive crafting for the kids in our marquee on Saturday and Sunday.”

“We hope that everyone who comes along enjoys the festive atmosphere, does some shopping and gets into the Christmas spirit!” she added.

There is free parking and free entry and just a 10-minute drive from the M6.

Why not shop local this Christmas and start at Beetham Nurseries?

Beetham Nurseries’ Christmas Market Weekend runs from Thursday, December 1st to Sunday, December 4th, 2022. Opening times vary.
