Cheshire eco baby brand launches major expansion across UK retailers

A Cheshire-born eco-friendly baby brand has announced its arrival in three major high-street stores: Tesco, SPAR and Boots. Pura’s multi-award-winning range of affordable 100% plastic-free wipes and eco-friendly nappies are now available to buy across hundreds of new stores.

The news follows the business’s announcement of launching its baby products in Superdrug online and also launching its new pet wipe range on Amazon.

Since it launched in 2020, Pura has experienced rapid growth, accelerated earlier this year with £4.25million worth of funding by Maven Capital Partners.

Guy Fennell, Pura founder and CEO said: “Accessibility of sustainable baby products has always been important to Pura, so to be able to roll our products out into more major retail stores is huge for us and our customers.

”Partnering with these stores we are able to reach more customers and continue fighting the battle to democratise eco for a plastic free and eco-friendly world, one nappy at a time!”

Founded by parents Guy and Abi Fennell, Pura initially launched as a DTC business selling online before partnering with other retailers.  The new retailers are in good company, with Pura having previously partnered with the likes of Ocado, Asda, Amazon, WH Smith, Costco and Superdrug.

Pura offers an environmentally friendlier alternative to traditional baby care, without compromising on performance or price. All products in the range are clinically and dermatologically tested and are accredited by both the British Skin Foundation and Allergy UK.
