Asset engineering specialist makes senior hire

Edwin James Group, the national asset engineering firm with offices in Manchester and Daresbury has appointed a new executive director responsible for group business development. Rob Stephens joins the business from EMCOR where he was business development director.

Commenting on the appointment Christopher Kehoe, CEO at Edwin James Group, said, “I’m really pleased to welcome Rob to the team. Over the last two years, we have aligned our brands and now offer customers an integrated service covering the complete asset lifecycle. Rob’s experience in bringing teams together and attracting large, complex and regulated clients make him a great fit to support the next phase of our development as a group.”

Working closely with the Group’s three brands, Musk Process Services, Peak Technology Solutions and Parker Technical Services, Stephens will contribute to growing business across the group by focusing on building new relationships and developing strategies that help customers benefit from the services and synergies the brands offer. He has over 20 years experience leading business development teams across the UK and Ireland and holds an MBA from Cranfield University.

Rob Stephens added, “This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing group that is offering something different to the market. Together the three brands are a hugely compelling proposition with complementary services that help customers to run more sustainable, efficient and reliable operations.”
