The Foundation 92 December to Remember Holiday Campaign to support the Greater Manchester community is back!

Salford based charity Foundation 92 is launching its 2022 #F92DecembertoRemember holiday campaign alongside partners, to support the community across Greater Manchester.

The charity will deliver:

  • 248 hours of free to access holiday activities
  • A Christmas present drop with Foundation 92 Co-Founder Nicky Butt
  • A Salford Royal Hospital visit with Salford City Football Club and their Players.

All for the Greater Manchester community over the Christmas period.

Foundation 92 are aiming to deliver over 1,700 presents during the week leading up to Christmas Day, supporting the most at need in the community as part of the F92 December to Remember campaign.

To support this campaign, the Foundation needs the help of the local community to spread the Christmas cheer. Working with third sector partners, Foundation 92 is setting up drop off points across Salford and Greater Manchester for gift donations. These gifts can be books, arts & crafts, chocolates, toys or anything that can bring a smile to a member of the community this Christmas. Locations accepting donations can be found directly below.

Donations will be accepted from the 1st until the 12th of December.

University Academy 92, M16 0PU – Business Hours Excluding Weekends.
Foundation 92, St James House, M6 5FW – Business Hours Excluding Weekends.
Hotel Football, M16 0SZ – All day every day.
1ST Central Manchester – Internal Staff Collection.
OBI Property, M2 3FX – Business Hours Excluding Weekends.

Foundation 92 are also visiting Youth Clubs across Greater Manchester with special guests and presents. For this, the charity is asking the public to nominate a Youth Club and to explain why they feel the Club deserves a special surprise this Christmas.

All nominees will be reviewed, and the winning Youth Club will receive a visit from the Foundation 92 team this Christmas.

Head of Foundation 92, Tom Hutton said: “Following the success of last year’s Foundation 92 December to Remember Christmas campaign, we are really pleased to be able to support local communities once again after what is a very challenging winter for everyone.

“It is fantastic to see so many businesses working together to support local communities in Greater Manchester.” 

The Foundation 92 December to Remember initiative is aimed at individuals and families that are going through a hard time this winter. Foundation 92 and partners aim to spread some Christmas cheer, whilst also making sure families around the region feel supported in what can be a difficult time for many.

Launched in 2018, Foundation 92 focuses on supporting people to improve their lives through sport with an emphasis on physical and mental wellbeing.

Foundation 92’s partners on this project include Salford City FC, 1ST CENTRAL, Hotel Football, University Academy 92, Kuits Solicitors, OBI Property.
