Writers’ Row fast becoming Hale’s bestseller!

If Writers’ Row were a book, it would be on the best sellers list, says estate agency Gascoigne Halman.

The new build development on Hale’s former library site is already 50 per cent sold with just four properties remaining.

Situated on Leigh Road and Addison Road, the exclusive collection of new homes is impressing house hunters thanks to its combination of external Victorian elegance and internal modernity.

“Writers’ Row was an incredibly rare development opportunity that arose from the relocation of the old village library,” commented Phillip Diggle, director of Gascoigne Halman’s Hale office.  “These properties are therefore extremely well positioned in the centre of the village and boast all the advantages house hunters expect from newly constructed, highly insulated homes.

“What has impressed us most here is developer Westshield’s commitment to Hale’s heritage in designing these properties.  The homes are incredibly modern and highly specified internally but externally they perfectly complement Hale’s Victorian heritage.  This is a truly exceptional opportunity to live in the heart of Hale and have all its wonderful facilities within walking distance.”

The four remaining properties at Writers’ Row are all three storey, four-bedroom semi detached homes.  Features of the properties include sleek SieMatic kitchens, two parking spaces with EV capability and landscaped gardens including built in seating and fire pits.  The homes are priced at £1.095 million and will be ready for occupation early in the New Year.

Writers’ Row is part of developer Westshield’s wider investment in Hale.  Its construction of the village’s new bowling pavilion and library remains on schedule with completion expected in early 2023.

“We are delighted with the responses we have received not only to Writers’ Row but also in anticipation for what is to come at the bowling pavilion site,” commented Patrick Waldron, Managing Director at Westshield.  “Residents of Hale had a long wait for this development to be agreed and approved so we are particularly pleased that we have delivered it so swiftly.  The new facilities here will benefit residents of all ages, as such we are incredibly proud to soon be completing a community asset that will be enjoyed for many years to come.”
