After two decades of development, behold our luxury mattress collection!

The Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co. has created what could be the world’s most luxurious mattress, made by skilled craftspersons using wool directly sourced from the Sandringham Estate. The organic and sustainable natural fibres used in the mattress make it a true work of art. As a Royal Warrant holder, the company takes pride in producing each mattress in the new Sandringham Wool Collection with the highest quality standards.

Crafting each mattress in the Sandringham Collection takes over 20 hours of individual skill and artistry. These mattresses are a testament to exceptional craftsmanship, tailored by hand and layered with sumptuous Aberfield fleece sourced exclusively from the Sandringham Estate. The collection’s mattresses are guaranteed to last at least 30 years, making them a worthwhile investment in long-term comfort.

Authenticity and transparency are at the heart of Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co., which husband and wife team Amanda and Stephen founded two decades ago. Their family company’s ethos includes sourcing raw materials from within the British Isles and adopting a “hyper-local” supply chain that emphasizes quality while minimizing travel distance.

After two decades of bed-making and working closely with Sandringham Estate, the company has brought to market this wonderful collection of mattresses. The Sandringham Collection is a new meaning to the phrase “hyper-local,” as the wool is sourced from less than 100 meters away from the doors of their 1800s workshop. This new collection of perfectly balanced mattresses has been twenty years in the making, and it is clear that each mattress has been crafted with care, expertise, and a true commitment to quality.

The Sandringham Wool 20 mattress is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, taking nearly 20 hours for an individual artisan to create. This luxurious handcrafted mattress is rich in Sandringham wool and layered with the finest natural fibre materials. The mattress contains 20kg of fully traceable Sandringham wool that is delicately hand teased and laid beneath layers of organic cotton, flax, hemp, bamboo, and cashmere. This combination creates a breathable, soothing, and durable sleep environment, regulating body temperature and offering the feeling of weightlessness and pure relaxation.

The Sandringham 10 mattress is also a plump mattress, crafted with hand-teased Sandringham wool and the finest natural fibre materials. This collection of mattresses has no bottom of the range as each mattress is a testament to exceptional quality. The Sandringham 10 mattress contains 10kg of Sandringham wool that is hand teased and laid delicately by hand for even distribution and exceptional comfort. The wool is nested between layers of comforting organic cotton, working in unison to create a breathable, soothing, and breathable sleep environment.

Named The Sandringham Wool Collection, this collection of mattresses only uses wool fleece sourced from Sandringham Estate. The commitment to authenticity, transparency, and offering the best night’s sleep possible is upheld by the use of wool from a single source. Once the total yield has been hand teased into their made-to-order mattresses, there will be a natural wait until the next year’s harvest before production starts again. This approach ensures that each mattress is crafted with care and expertise, making them a worthwhile investment in long-term comfort.
