Households Facing Fuel Poverty to Receive Eco Grant Funding Thanks to Energy Experts

A team of energy efficiency specialists, based at Keele University, have collaborated on a project to provide support for the most vulnerable households in gaining access to essential government funding.

On the heels of the new phase of the government’s Energy Company Obligation, Residential Energy Services have launched a fast, free eligibility checker and advice service to help get vulnerable homeowners’ applications underway.
The government’s Energy Company Obligation has launched its fourth phase and is targeted towards fuel poverty. Eligible households on low incomes can gain access to whole house retrofit measures, which will in turn reduce energy bills and help those in need live more comfortably.
At the same time, the Great British Insulation Scheme, scheduled to launch this Summer, aims to get loft and wall insulation into as many fuel poor homes as possible. Residential Energy Services has been established to make the application process faster and easier for eligible property owners.
“We’re a team of energy advisors with a rich history in domestic retrofit, energy efficiency and construction. Our team engages with householders and moves them through the eligibility, retrofit assessment and installation process. We pride ourselves on our ethical approach to engagement, working with homeowners to achieve the best possible outcome.” Sarah Parry – Managing Director, Residential Energy Services
The Residential Energy Services website is now live and includes an eligibility checker that takes just a few minutes. Find out more about ECO Grants and retrofit measures suited to your home.
