Host of famous faces to join International Women’s Day Lunch in Manchester

The celebrities who will star in an International Women’s Day Lunch in Manchester next March, have been announced.

Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards, TV presenter Angellica Bell, and Hello! magazine editor-at-large Rosie Nixon, join journalist Ruth Langsford and musical star Jodi Prenger in a lively debate.

The lunch honours International Women’s Day 2024 with a unique panel of celebrity women who, despite achieving success in their careers, have all faced the challenge of gender stereotyping.

In a debate hosted by the event’s organiser Liz Taylor, guests will share how they have fought individual discrimination to rise to the top of their careers. Each woman sharing how they feel society needs to change in order to break down barriers and celebrate women’s achievements more openly.

Tickets on sale

The ‘Liz Taylor and Friends’ event takes place from 12.30pm – 4.30pm on March 8, 2024, at The Lowry Hotel. Tickets for the event, which are £100 each, include a drinks reception, three-course lunch, half a bottle of wine per person, and guest speakers.

“As the celebrity panel grows, so does the debate.” says business woman Liz Taylor.

“On the surface they have enviable lives and careers, but in achieving their success, each of my panel guests have faced – and overcome – huge challenges. I want to dig into their journeys, find out where they get the steely determination to succeed from, and how together they feel women can drive the change necessary to break gender stereotyping.
