A group personal training gym is opening at Somerford Park Farm in Congleton on December 2.
The new 3000 sqft facility by FITISM – which already has two successful gyms in Wilmslow and Bakewell – promises members ‘a health and fitness experience unlike any other in the area’.
It will specialise in providing small group fitness sessions and personal training, delivered by some of the best and most experienced trainers in the UK, as well as nutrition programming by its in-house registered nutritionist.
FITISM’s holistic approach to health and fitness also encourages members to think beyond the gym, with a personalised accountability programme to help achieve goals, enhance overall wellbeing and focus on nutrition.
All members undergo an in-depth body scan which provides analysis and benchmarking on body composition and biological age to help support their training goals. A bespoke app also provides ongoing support, group communication and easy booking.
Bespoke offering
FITISM director, Ali Crawford said: “Our new FITISM Somerford personal training gym will provide people in the area with something completely different to what’s currently available, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming new members to our FITISM family.
“As well as offering expert training, fitness programming and nutritional support, one of the things that sets us apart is our community feel, and how we bring together likeminded people to support each other’s training and progress in a welcoming and friendly environment. We cater for all abilities, and all ages, as everything is tailored to an individual’s goals. We also host events, ALPHA, GAMES, community evenings, talks, Q&A sessions and collaborations with local businesses.
“More than £150,000 has been invested in our new site to create an inspiring environment with the latest facilities. And being located at Somerford Park Farm equestrian centre gives us some amazing views of the countryside and easy to access from both Holmes Chapel and Congleton.”
Ali added: “We’ve been helping everyday people become leaner, stronger, fitter, healthier humans through our FITISM concept and we can’t wait to continue to build on this with our third gym in the Somerford area.”
FITISM Somerford, based at Somerford Park Farm in Holmes Chapel Road, Congleton, will be managed by Richard Keyworth, who has more than 20 years’ coaching experience, supported by other training experts Layla Bannard-Smith, Matt Kay and Rebecca Sampson.
