Meet new neighbours on Hartford community walk

Hartford locals are invited to take part in a community walk taking place on Saturday, January 20.

Homebuilder Redrow is hosting the event alongside a local group of walkers. They will meet at 9.30am, at the sales office at Redrow Hartford, off School Lane, and end in the same location with coffee, tea and cake.

Redrow homeowner Karen Lee, who regularly attends Mid Cheshire Walkers, will be leading the route.

She said: “Walking is a social hobby and a great form of exercise. It’s a brilliant way to destress from a busy week and enjoy some fresh air, while taking in some of the beautiful landscapes we are so lucky to have on our doorstep in Hartford.

“This community walk will also be an opportunity to meet new neighbours and we invite people to bring their friends and family along too. Everyone is welcome from the village and beyond.”

The group plans to walk the Marshall’s Arm circular, which is around 4 km / 2.5 miles and takes around an hour but can be extended or shortened if preferred.

Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director at Redrow NW said: “We’re looking forward to hosting the community walk and bringing new and old neighbours together for the morning. There are some fabulous walks in the local area, we have even created a walking leaflet, available on the downloads page of the Redrow Hartford website for our homeowners and others to download with several local walking routes to enjoy.”
