The Merseysiders crashed out of the Europa League at the hands of Serie A side Atalanta and suffered a setback in their bid for the Premier League crown after losing to Everton on Wednesday.

He told ESPN: “I’d like to become new Liverpool manager, my decision is clear.
“Feyenoord and Liverpool are in talks to negotiate, I’m waiting to see what will come out of it.
“I am confident, waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement.”
Slot led Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title in style last season, finishing seven points ahead of second-placed PSV Eindhoven.
He has not managed to repeat the feat in the 2023-24 campaign, but his side cannot finish lower than second in the Dutch top flight.
The 45-year-old could prove to be a popular choice on Merseyside because of his brand of football.
Slot deploys a high-intensity, front-foot approach, similar to Klopp.
The Pride of Rotterdam have scored 77 times so far this year and only conceded 23 times, only PSV can boast a better record.
