Winsford firm SRL appoints Mark Eburne as CEO

Winsford company SRL Traffic Systems – one of Europe’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of mobile intelligent transport system (ITS) solutions – has appointed Mark Eburne as chief executive officer.

Mark (pictured) joins from retailer FFX Group and brings with him 25 years’ senior leadership experience. He has worked extensively throughout the utilities, hire and construction sectors.

The new CEO will lead SRL as it embarks on the next stage of its ambitious growth strategy, with a continued focus on serving customers with a unique rental and service proposition.

Highlights of the last year include the expansion of the company’s product portfolio to incorporate one of the first solar powered mobile traffic signals and the strengthening of its nationwide distribution network of more than 30 depots – the UK and RoI’s largest – with the launch of two new strategic centres in East Grinstead and Aberdeen.

Mark said: “I am joining SRL at an extremely exciting point in its development and look forward to working with its team to elevate the company to the next level. SRL has tremendous growth potential, with passionate and hardworking people, a market-leading and unique customer service offering, exceptional products, and strong investor support from 3i Infrastructure.”

SRL executive chairman, Richard Tredwin said: “Mark is a highly experienced CEO with a strong track-record of the kind of decisive, engaging leadership that will drive SRL forward.”
