Chester-based Katie Mc is now a best selling author

Chester’s Katie Mc – aka The Women’s Breakthrough Coach – is now a best selling author.

Her new collaborative book “If I Could Tell Her’ has reached number one in five categories on Amazon, knocking four Sunday Times Bestselling books off the top spots in their relevant categories.

Her five fellow entrepreneurs have share their courage and strength collectively to inspire others to reframe and leave behind past challenges.

The Women’s Breakthrough Coach, said: “Many years ago, feeling alone and unconsciously conditioned to feeling that it was all my fault, I knew I had to do something to raise awareness.  To be able to share my story of domestic and narcissistic abuse and let other women know there is support out there and they too can breakthrough to their version of freedom, is the reason I wrote my chapter.”

Katie Mc is a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, trauma informed coach and narcissistic abuse specialist. She also helps female survivors of domestic or narcissistic abuse, enabling them to live an empowered life feeling validated, confident and free.

She said: “Having been through the court system myself I saw first hand the stress and pressure the staff in the legal system are under.  Long working hours, poor mental health, exposure to horrific and traumatic situations sometimes on a daily basis.

“Being a founding brand partner of The Mental Wellbeing Company I now offer CPD and CE Accredited workshops to solicitors across the country to increase their mental health and well-being, to drive a positive work culture and to build psychological safety and awareness to build trust.

“They learn about the different types of trauma, how it presents in themselves and others, the impact this has on leaders in the workplace and how to better manage this to boost mental health and increase productivity, ultimately having a better outcome for all involved.”

With over two decades dedicated to therapeutic work with adults and children in settings including NHS, education, charity and the private sector, and several features in the media for her expertise, Katie transitioned her career focus and now brings her profound expertise to help female survivors of domestic abuse and trauma.

Within her practice she offers one-to-one sessions, group work and training events, all of which can either be accessed face-to-face or online. She works locally, nationally, and internationally to facilitate a deeper level of understanding to be able to help people not only understand and process what has happened, but also understand their own history, and trauma profile to enable them to navigate a way forward. She also works within the body to help calm their nervous system and reduce their cortisol levels to enable a deeper level of healing, as the body remembers so much more than the conscious mind does.

‘If I Could Tell Her’ is number 1 in 5 categories on Amazon knocking 4 Sunday Times Bestselling books off the top spots in their relevant categories.

These titles include Women & Power by Mary Beard, You’re not the Problem by Katie McKenna & Helen Villiers and ‘The Devil you Know: Encounters in Forensic Psychiatry’ by Dr Gwen Adshead that was also A Sunday Times, New Statesman and Irish Times book of the Year off the top spots.  Also beating bestselling self-help book of all time in the UK, legendary book The Chimp Paradox by Professor Steve Peters.

The 5 categories in Amazon Kindle “If I could tell her” is now NUMBER 1 in include – Emotions and Feelings, Psychoanalysis, Theory of Psychoanalysis, Violence against Women
