PHILOSOPHY PR PICKS UP TWO NEW PROJECTS

Cheadle-based boutique PR consultancy, Philosophy PR, has picked up two new projects in the retail and travel sectors.

Secondhand Styling UK is a brand new, sustainable fashion venture set up by Altrincham’s Lucy Norris.  The company aims to transform the shopping habits of consumers, making secondhand more ‘fashionable’ and accessible.

Philosophy PR has been appointed to help successfully establish the new company, putting Secondhand Styling on the Manchester map.  From educating on the benefits of swapping clothes to sharing Lucy’s top tips and expert styling advice, Philosophy PR will incorporate media relations, profiling, product placement and swap shop events into the campaign.

Lucy comments: “It has been a pleasure working with Philosophy PR on the launch of Secondhand Styling UK.  We have only just started and it’s already very exciting!  We have lots planned for the coming months, which I am really looking forward to.”

Philosophy PR is also working with yoga teacher Jenny Clark, founder of The Wild Times, who has created several extraordinary experiences in picturesque UK settings that focus on ‘active relaxation’ – where individuals are fully immersed in physical activities outdoors to help get into a flow state.

With a schedule of retreats planned for this year, each featuring yoga, wild swimming, paddleboarding, meditation and walking, Philosophy PR has made an immediate start securing the attendance of national travel and wellbeing journalists.

Jenny says: “Philosophy PR proposed a superb six month plan for The Wild Times and has already confirmed the attendance of national newspapers and magazines on the first retreats of 2022, which is just fantastic.  With media relations yet to follow, I’m excited to see how the PR campaign evolves and its end results.”

Commenting on the new projects, Gemma Carey, co-founder and director of Philosophy PR says: “It is great to have picked up two new projects, enhancing both our retail and travel portfolios.  Both are brand new businesses with strong females at the helm, and super environmental credentials, so we are thrilled to be working with them as they launch their new ventures and establish themselves.”

Philosophy Public Relations is a boutique communications consultancy headed up by experienced consultants Victoria Maltby and Gemma Carey.  A small but passionate consultancy, Philosophy PR is renowned for working in partnership with its clients, delivering on objectives and achieving results.
