SPAFEST GIVES BACK: JUNE 2022 NEW EVENT: MADE FOR LIFE DAY AT THE CARDEN PARK ESTATE, CHESHIRE

SpaFest, an annual wellness event for the spa and wellness industry, has announced the launch of SpaFest Gives Back at The Carden Park Estate, Cheshire, on 14 June 2022.

 

The inaugural SpaFest Gives Back will offer 40 people going through treatment for cancer and 40 people who are supporting those people, to attend a nurturing, supportive wellness day at the Spa at Carden.  Tickets can be applied for via the Spafest website, with tickets priced at £25.00 each, a special discounted price for the event. There is also the option of the Twilight spa event with life coaching which costs £45 per person.

 

Focusing on planet, health and sustainable economics, SpaFest was founded by Amanda Winwood and Made for Life Organics in 2017, with support and partnership from Sarah Camilleri, Founder of European Spa magazine as media sponsor. The premise of SpaFest is to raise money to reinvest in events which give back to the community.

We’ve worked closely with the SpaFest team to create a wonderful nurturing and supportive wellness day for our deserving visitors; we’re looking forward to welcoming both the guests who are going through treatment for cancer and those who are helping to support them. The day itself will be a real treat; with everything from wellbeing workshops and a healthy eating masterclass from our Executive Chef Graham Tinsley, MBE, to taster sessions of Touch Therapy from the Made for Life Touch Therapy specialists. To have it all taking place at the Carden Park is a real honour.”

 

SpaFest Gives Back features a line-up of inspiring speakers, paired with the inspirational setting, team and vision of The Spa at Carden.  This event is a partnership between SpaFest and Carden Park, supported by the British Beauty Council, SATCC (Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care) and UKSA (UK Spa Association) to spearhead and innovate change. During the day guests will receive a goody bag of products and enjoy products and therapies from Gharieni, Made for Life Organics, Murad and Therapy Teas from Camellia’s Tea House.

 

Iain Bell, Founder, Executive Fitness Foundation will lead an empowerment and integrative empowerment

session to open the day. Iain’s approach is all about positive change and progress. His aim for SpaFest Gives

Back is to enable guests to be able to fast track their well-being and achieve new potential through support

and encouragement.

 

Carden Park’s Head Chef, Graham Tinsley MBE will demonstrate a healthy cooking session which will

be followed by a delicious and nutritious lunch. During the afternoon, guests will have the option of

choosing from one-hour workshops led by specialists: Laura Broady, Aromatherapy for Life; Mark Smith,

Kalm Horizons Meditation and Sarah Blumenau, Find your Voice.

 

During the afternoon, 20-minute taster sessions of Touch Therapy will be provided by Carden Park and Made for Life Touch Therapy specialists. There will also be a deep meditative sleep area where people can experience 20-minute taster sessions of the new Circadian Rhythm Reset Ritual combining Gharieni’s new concept bed and Made for Life Organics.

 

To celebrate positivity and optimism, The Giving Back to Life SpaFest Awards will present awards for Compassion, Innovation, Courage, Leadership, Inspiration with spa prizes donated by Carden Park and Made for Life Organics. Guests can choose to upgrade their day with an Evening Twilight Spa session which includes spa access,  sharing platter and glass of bubbles. Jamie Edwards, Founder of Trained Brain and Strut Camp will open the evening with a Strut Camp offering informal coaching sessions during the evening to empower and uplift.

Together, we will be welcoming people living with cancer to experience a variety of workshops and Touch Therapy to improve their health.”
