Morris & Co Announce two senior promotions

Cheshire-based Chartered Accountants, Morris & Co, have announced two promotions within their senior team.  Colin Fowler, and Martin Lanceley, both previously Senior Associates within the firm have been promoted to Client Services Directors.

Desirie Lea, Executive Director at Morris & Co, said: “Colin and Martin really deserve their promotions, they have both given many years of dedicated service to the firm and our clients.

“Colin joined us back in 1988, and has invaluable knowledge of our clients and their individual requirements. His attention to detail is second to none and his expertise on all aspects of accounting and taxation is greatly valued. As a past Chairman of the Chester and North Wales branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW), he’s passionate about supporting younger members of the team and is instrumental in passing on accounting knowledge to our students.”

Desirie continued, “I am also delighted that Martin’s commitment and dedication has been recognised. Martin forms an essential role in managing our Franchise and Ophthalmic specialist teams, as well as offering advice and guidance to our clients on cloud-based accounting software.”

The promotions come just 12 months after Morris & Co joined forces with Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester based DJH Mitten Clarke, becoming part of their group as a move to strengthen the specialist services offered to the firm’s clients.

Based on the Cheshire Oaks Business Park, Morris & Co are ideally located to cover, Chester, Cheshire and the Wirrall.
