Manchester based Planning, Project Management and Cost Management company, Zerum has secured consent for a four-storey residential scheme in Warrington on behalf of Park Equity Invest.
The scheme will be based on Wilson Patten Street on the inner edge of Warrington town centre and will feature 74 dwellings including 15 affordable apartments.
The development incorporates one-to-three-bedroom homes with a selection of duplexes and apartments with front doors opening onto the street. These high-quality properties based within the town centre are set to create additional housing in an area which is currently undergoing rejuvenation.
Deborah Baker Barnett, Associate at Zerum said: “We are delighted to have been involved in helping this residential project secure planning. With 76 beautiful homes set to be built in Warrington town centre with onsite amenity space included this will provide a stunning development which will also incorporate affordable apartments within.”
Jeremy Clarke, Director at Park Equity Invest said: “This is a confident, contemporary rendition of apartment living that sits well with the early Victorian terraces along Wilson Patten Street.
“We’ve focused on a highly energy-efficient design to minimise energy consumption and costs and, overall, the scheme sits very well on its site. I’m looking forward to seeing it built and occupied.”
The development is also set to bring economic, social and environmental benefits to Warrington as a whole.
Zerum works across the UK with offices based in Manchester and Leeds. They have worked on several high-profile schemes including Thorpe Park in Leeds, Middlewood Locks in Salford and St Michael’s in Manchester.
