The Firs School Chester celebrate HelloYellow day

Children at The Firs School Chester, the leading independent school for boys and girls aged 0-11 years old, enjoyed celebrating HelloYellow day. This is a special day organised by Young Minds UK to raise awareness of mental health in our young people.

The children enjoyed talking about how to look after their mental well-being and talked about how to manage day to day life by making time for the things they enjoy! They shared their ideas with one another by visiting different classrooms and also enjoyed a delicious ‘happy’ cupcake for pudding.

Headteacher, Rosemary Evans-Moore comments: “At the Firs School we pride ourselves on our ethos that happy, self-confident children learn and develop their social and emotional wellbeing.  Our continued aim is to cultivate a happy, healthy learning environment and our pastoral care ensures the children engage more effectively in learning and participation in school life.”
