Calling all swimming teachers in Cheshire!

Local baby and child swim school, Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire is looking for more swimming teachers to join their ever-growing team. The need for more teachers remains high after the demand for baby and children swimming lessons skyrocketed after the pandemic.

This demand for swimming lessons, was due to children having missed out on being in the water and parents keen for their children to learn this vital life skill. Now 14 months after getting back in the pool, there are still waiting lists for children needing lessons, creating a call out for more teachers to join the baby & pre-school and swim academy teams.

Rachel Bateson, owner of Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire comments: “We were thrilled to see so many children returning to the pool, but we do have more who want to learn to swim with us. So, we are looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to train to become a swimming teacher, or swimming teachers looking to join our team.

Rachel continues: “There is nothing that compares to seeing the look of joy on a child’s face when they are swimming, learning new skills whilst having so much fun!”

The Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire team are holding a recruitment day at Barons Quay on Saturday 22nd October 10am-12noon where you can go and find out what it takes to become a Puddle Ducks swim teacher.

One thing all Puddle Ducks teachers share is a true passion for children’s development and a love for the water. You will teach children to swim confidently and beautifully, building their swimming skills as well as their understanding of the water and how to stay safe whilst enjoying it.
