CHESTER PUPIL HAS THE WINNING DESIGN THIS CHRISTMAS

A PRIMARY school pupil from Vicars Cross has designs on a trip to the zoo thanks to his colouring skills.

Eight-year-old Ben Fermor, a pupil at Oldfield Primary School, won Redrow’s Christmas colouring competition, designing a card which will now be sent on to all Redrow customers in the North West.

The competition was open to a number of schools in the area, with pupils being asked to design an e-card around the theme of ‘what home means’.

Not only has Ben won the chance for his design to be seen across the North West, he’s also won a Chester Zoo pass for him and his family and £250 worth of Amazon vouchers for his school.

Anna Evans–Kerr, sales director at Redrow NW said: “Thank you to all the schools who got involved in our colouring competition this year, the entries were amazing, we had such a hard job choosing one winner.

“But we were all in agreement that Ben’s design brought together his idea of home perfectly. We hope all our customers love it as much as we do.”

Nikki Bailey, deputy head teacher at Oldfield Primary School, said: “We were thrilled to hear that Ben’s design had been chosen for Redrow’s Christmas card this year.

“Ben is delighted to have won this competition and is looking forward to spending the day at Chester Zoo with his family. The school will be using the vouchers to purchase new supplies for indoor and outdoor playtimes, which Ben is very pleased about. Huge thanks to all the team at Redrow.”

Redrow currently has a wide selection of three and four bedroom properties for sale at its Chester based development King’s Moat Garden Village .The garden village sits close to the Cheshire countryside and its proximity to the North West rail and motorway network gives it good access to Manchester, Liverpool and beyond, making it hugely appealing to commuters.
