COMPLETION OF MAJOR EXPANSION CELEBRATED WITH OPEN DAY FOR VETERINARY PRACTICE TEAMS

An open day, on Sunday 12th February, for veterinary professionals marks the completion of a major £300,000 expansion at one of the North West’s leading veterinary hospitals.

The now-completed building work at Northwest Veterinary Specialists (NWVS), in Sutton Weaver, Cheshire, cements the practice’s standing as one of the best-equipped sites in the region.

The Linnaeus-owned hospital has tripled the size of its waiting room and nearly doubled the number of consultation rooms to seven, including one cat-only consult room and a cat-only waiting area.

To mark the significant milestone, the practice is throwing open its doors between 10am and 2pm with plenty of things to see and do.

Highlights will include tours of the multi-disciplinary referral hospital, including the brand-new consulting suite, together with the opportunity to meet the NWVS team, comprising specialists, clinicians, nurses and client care personnel.

As well as food and refreshments throughout the day, veterinary practice teams will have the opportunity to see physiotherapy demonstrations.

Clinical director Prue Neath said: “Our open day for veterinary practice teams is a great opportunity to showcase to the veterinary profession the modern facilities and cutting-edge equipment we have on offer, further enhanced by our major expansion.

“The upgrades ensure we can continue to deliver the very best of care and treatments to our pet patients, while offering a first-class working environment for our valued colleagues.”

Design work at NWVS was carried out by Newmarket architects ACD Projects and construction was handled by Carve Interiors of Stoke-on-Trent.

Northwest Veterinary Specialists (NWVS) is one of the UK’s leading specialist-led animal hospitals. It offers care in anaesthesia and analgesia, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.

Places for the open day are limited, so anyone interested is asked to complete this registration form: www.nwspecialists.com/vet-professionals/open-day/registration .
