Jurgen Klopp wants even more from his Liverpool side despite the Reds securing their Europa League knockout place as group winners with a 4-0 home thumping of LASK.
Cody Gakpo netted a double while Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah were also on the scoresheet as Liverpool’s resounding victory at Anfield, combined with Toulouse’s 0-0 draw with Union Saint-Gilloise, confirms the Reds’ first-placed finish in Group E with a game to spare.

Despite the win and subsequent qualification, Klopp believes his team must put in even better displays in future as they bid to lift silverware come the end of the campaign after a rare trophyless season last time out.
“The most important thing is that we’re at the head of the group and that won’t change so that’s good,” Klopp told TNT Sports.
“There was a lot of good stuff and some stuff I didn’t like too much, but that’s how it is. We say it all the time, we still have to grow and develop.
“There was some good football but this game should have been put to bed before half-time. If you are on the front foot and in charge then kill it. We didn’t do that.

“We were really good in a lot of moments but then we lost rhythm with the changes.
“At 2-0 and 3-0 great, we opened the game up a little bit and gave them changes. It is fantastic to win 4-0.”
Klopp was particularly pleased to pick up a clean sheet, Liverpool’s first in six games, saying: “It is very good. Defensively I have to say we were very strong.
“We were solid and that is very important. Then we can play football and that’s how it is.”
