Book Technologies Inc. Secures Ownership of Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited

In a strategic manoeuvre to dominate the sector, Book Technologies Inc. has acquired Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited. Founder Cash Haleem has confirmed that both entities will continue to operate as Divisions within Taxi Group Ltd., albeit under the new ownership of Book Technologies Inc.

Taxi Group Ltd., a key regional force in transportation services led by CEO and Founder Cash Haleem, orchestrated the integration of Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited into Book Technologies Inc.’s portfolio in March 2024. The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to scale its operations both nationally and globally with Book Technologies Inc.’s support.

International Aspirations

Currently, Taxi Group Ltd. is in talks to extend its reach to various international markets, including Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Africa, Singapore, and the Netherlands. The firm plans to reveal its 2024 expansion timeline, coinciding with its recruitment push in Britain and beyond.

Region-Specific Operations

With Leeds Taxi Group Limited’s headquarters in Leeds and Manchester Taxi Group Limited based in Manchester, the group’s localised strategy ensures services are finely tuned to the unique needs of each city’s inhabitants and visitors.

Technological Enhancements

2024 will see the launch of bespoke mobile apps and dedicated call lines for Leeds and Manchester, set to transform the urban commute. These technological advances aim to elevate convenience and accessibility for local and visiting commuters.

Inclusive Employment Practices

Both Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited are committed to inclusive hiring, welcoming diversity across gender, ethnicity, and background. This approach highlights Taxi Group’s commitment to nurturing a diverse and inclusive work environment.

In response to the UK’s cost of living crisis, Taxi Group Ltd. is poised to introduce the Living Wage scheme, replacing the traditional commission-based pay structure. This initiative aims to ensure fair compensation for drivers, addressing their financial challenges.

Enhanced Driver Opportunities

Taxi Group Ltd. is focused on creating additional revenue streams for drivers, enhancing their earning potential across the UK. This endeavour is designed to bolster drivers’ financial security and career growth.

Vision for the Future

Cash Haleem is at the forefront of driving the company’s vision of expanded services and opportunities for both drivers and passengers. His ambition is to elevate the transportation experience, setting new industry standards.

Taxi Group Ltd. is also developing a strategic employment programme to offer drivers greater employment rights within the organisation.
