Police hunt Yamaha bikes stolen from Chester

Police are appealing for video footage following a burglary in Chester.

At around 1am on Wednesday, two men entered the grounds of an address on Wicker Lane.

While they were unsuccessful in attempting to forcefully access a secure steel container, they did get into another container and removed two off-road motocross bikes from inside.

The stolen bikes are blue Yamaha YZ125s (like pictured) worth around £3,500 each.

Detective constable Richard Connolley said: “We are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area shortly before or after the time of the incident to please contact us.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who believes they have been offered or have purchased either of the stolen bikes.

“To report any information, you can contact Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML-1834774.”

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
