On September 14th, the North West’s leading businesses and entrepreneurs will be honoured at the prestigious black-tie dinner for the GreengentCo Liverpool Lifestyle Awards.
Recognised as one of the most esteemed events for small businesses in the North West of the UK, the awards celebrate the accomplishments of dedicated entrepreneurs. Founded by Amanda Moss, owner of Liverpool Lifestyle magazine and a public relations expert, the awards were established to fill a void in recognising the hard work of local business owners.
She stated: “There are so many diligent business owners who have sacrificed time with their families and loved ones to create a business to give them a better life, who until the Lifestyle Awards, had never had a platform to showcase their achievements. Traditionally awards ceremonies have been for the elite few who mix in a clique and the same people have always been patted on the back.
“The Liverpool Lifestyle Awards shows gratitude to the shop owners on the small parades of shops in the suburbs who have battled against all odds to create a successful business within their community. It’s a chance for them to raise their profile and give them a pat on the back for their success. It’s also a fabulous networking opportunity and a chance for people who are usually working so hard, to give themselves a night off, get glammed up and celebrate their success. Liverpool does love a party!”
The Liverpool Lifestyle Awards will be held on Saturday, 14 September at The Liner Hotel in Liverpool. The headline sponsor for this year’s event is GreengentCo, a start-up founded by Sean Rintoul, an olderpreneur and kidney transplant survivor. The awards are also supported by Party Puffs Liverpool, who will provide the decor, and Creatives on the Couch.
Sean Rintoul aims to revolutionise the men’s grooming sector with his launch of holistic beauty products designed for stylish men who wish to embody modern masculinity. Despite having no prior experience in the male beauty industry, Sean developed a passion for caring for his appearance with organic and natural skin and haircare products, particularly after receiving a kidney transplant.
He remarked: “Undergoing an organ transplant can heighten awareness of the importance of health and wellness. This firsthand experience with health challenges led me to prioritise natural, organic, and sustainable products like those offered by GreenGent. Surviving a transplant often instills a deep sense of gratitude for the gift of life. This gratitude motivated me to give back to the communities and contribute positively to society. Creating GreenGent that focuses on health and well-being is a way of paying it forward and helping others lead healthier lives.”
He added: “I want our customers to understand the power of grooming and fashion to shape perceptions and make a statement, and they embrace these tools as a means of expressing their true selves to the world. I think there is a gap in the market for the older man and I am here to provide those products so men can age gracefully too.”
